Online Shopping Tidbits: Building Die cast Models for Pleasure or Passion

A popular hobby among both young boys and grown men is to tinker with die cast model cars and trucks. This hobby has been around almost as long as the automobile, and yet, it is still a passion of many! Perhaps you work on die cast models in your spare time for pleasure. Or, maybe it is a passion of yours, and you feel die cast models are a terrific investment.

No matter what the case, you can build almost any type of car or truck model you want using online shopping resources. The good news is that today it is easier than ever to build the die cast model of your dreams. You can quickly and easily visit an online shopping mall to buy die cast model kits, see photos of the completed projects, to compare prices, shop for supplies, and more!

Types of Die cast Models

At online shopping stores; you can find a variety of die cast models of different makes, models, colors, etc. There are model Mustangs, Corvettes, Golden Hawks, Chisellers, El Caminos, Camaros, Woodies, Bonnevilles, and many more! Whether you enjoy putting together a car from the 1930s or one from more modern days, there are die cast models for almost any era of the automobile. From hot rods to elegant luxury cars, the choices are endless.

Tips for Newbie’s

If you're a die cast model newbie, be sure to buy the right tools before you begin. Visit an online shopping store or a nearby hobby, office or craft supply store if one is available. You'll need glue or liquid cement (plastic weld) to seal those tight joints. You'll also need tweezers and small scissors for getting in those crevices. An X-actor knife will also come in handy. For painting your die cast model, you'll need paint, brushes, and even a toothpick for detailing.
Other supplies you might use include sandpaper, files, clippers, a drill with several small bits, and a magnifying glass.

Once you choose a model, be careful when removing parts in the package. Small parts are usually attached to plastic trees. Instead of trying to twist off the parts, cut them off using the X-acto knife. This will insure that you don't twist off a portion of the model pieces.

Once your model is complete, put it on display and try to resist handling it by the model itself. The paint can begin to wear because of the skin oil on your fingers. If you must show it off, display it on a portable stand. You can grab the display stand - not the model car - when moving it or showing it to someone.

Use Your Creativity

You should think about what you would like to accomplish. Are you a "by the book" type person or do you plan to make up rules as you go? Perhaps you are thinking of making die cast models with your own creativity instead of following exact instructions.

You can visit an online shopping mall that sells die cast models to get some ideas of what types of models are available. Use other helpful die cast model sites to learn more unique design techniques and ideas.

Well, Back Pain Management Is A Key to Back Pain Relief!

They say pain and stress go together. If you have pain, you may have stress. But if you have stress, you need not have pain. But your stress may cause pain to others! Those around you! Those who have concern for your health!

Back pain management depends upon what type of back pain you have! Is it your regular visitor? Or do you have the pain for the first time? If it was your regular visitor, how did you treat it? How did you get rid of it? Did you take some painkillers and got relieved? No, not well done! You are inviting more troubles for you, through your back.

Back pain and muscle pain go hand in hand. Sometimes, you do not know whether you have back pain or the muscle pain. In any case, their biological cause is identical-inflammation in the proximity of the pain area, that results in internal pressure and the pain receptors are activated in the nerve endings. Brain gets the relevant signals depending upon the intensity of the pain.

Avoid the painkillers and try to understand the root cause of the back pain. Some of the painkillers report the narcotics content up to 4 %. What to say about the Wise-Solomon’s in the Drug Controlling Departments, who certified such drugs as pain killers! By the time, the back pain is cured due to such drugs, if at all it is cured, you have created another incurable patient-the drug addict!

Therefore, I repeat again, understand your back again. If you are having it for the first time, don't rush to your doctor straightaway. It could be due to any silly reason! A jerk while traveling in the bus or auto, lift any object in the wrong way, a stumble over the street puddle-such back pains will automatically heal themselves with a bit of co-operation from your end. Get your back massaged properly, again not in the wrong way, and try to get a comfortable sleep. Don't be determined to watch your favorite TV program with the weight of your back on a pillow!

If you have a weak body, exercise-less body, you are likely to get back pains quite often. For this state, the right living is the answer! Try to find out from a yoga expert, which types of asana (postures) are suitable for you. By doing those exercises regularly, your back and front will become stronger to resist any sort of pain. It is your body. It requires service and maintenance, just as you provide that kindness to your car!

When did you have a morning walk last? If you are not willing to come out of your car, even for doing small jobs in the market, you will have one sort of pain or the other.  Building the body strength and power of resistance, is the best way to prevent back-pain.

Scientifically speaking, do exercise-and a natural antidote to pain, endorphins is released. It combats the negative afflictions in your body. Laziness and inactivity are the main causes of pain of all sorts especially the back pain.

Prolonged back pain may give raise to serious other pains and it may disable the body in parts. Do not neglect it. But mostly rely on the natural remedies. I am not telling you to neglect the doctor. Take his advice as well. Sometimes, his experience and expertise may solve your problem!

Learn How to Win

Life is impossible without difficulties. The moment we are born to this world, life gives us trials every day. Some of us overcome their ups and downs without sticking on them. Others tend to experience difficulties more often, in their lives run of bad luck lasts for a rather long time. It would be logical to ask why? Who divides people into successful and unsuccessful?
Probably they do it themselves. The people take negative life circumstances quite differently. "Losers "regard them as defeats, whereas "winners" perceive them as some valuable life lesson to enrich their life experience. The main rule of "winners "is the thesis: "there are no defeats, but there is a feedback". Such life approach allows them to acquire severe life lessons more easily and advance to their aim.

If a new dissatisfying situation arises, people act differently depending on their common behavior strategy. Let's see how people of these two categories react to difficulties. The loser's strategy. "Something is wrong again…" When he does not attain the desirable result the loser experiences strong emotional discomfort that prevents him to evaluate the situation objectively. He transforms this negative experience onto other situations in his life. The winner's strategy. What is the result? A person tries to separate this situation from the rest and give an objective analysis of facts. The loser's strategy.
Who is to blame? A person searches for the guilty. In most cases he blames the circumstances, more rarely people and almost never himself. The winner's strategy. What have I learnt? A person is trying to find positive things in the situation. If you are given a lemon instead of apple – make lemonade. The loser's strategy. Why did it happen? (Fixing on the past). All the thoughts are concentrated on the negative experience.  The winner's strategy.
How do I want to use it? (Fixing on the future). A winner has a dream. That is why he reflects how this experience can contribute in approaching his aim. The loser's strategy. Limiting his future. "I will never swallow the same bate". The winner's strategy.  New opportunities. How can I act more effectively in the future?
As you see from the above examples the winner has a positive outlook and he is learning every day he lives. A winner is not a person who never loses. More likely a winner is someone who takes lessons from his mistakes and every day does something to approach his dream.

There is much debate about the secret writing on the faces and backs of the Arcane deck. The speculation runs rampant in this thread from the Illusionist forums.

As always, the truth is much more interesting. It is a language known as Arcanic. Spoken with a wheezy, wizardly accent, the language was used exclusively by Norse magicians who were sick of looking at the fut hark runes and wanted to use a different font for their Macs. Thus they were able to hide the secrets of their magic tricks in plain sight.

The language was lost, until the Icelandic musical geniuses of Sigur Ros discovered it and used it exclusively for the () CD. The translation on the back of each Arcane card is this: "The Pass is like life: It will never be perfect, but you'll never stop living it."

Vedic Maths Sutras

About the Swamiji Who Constructed the Vedic Maths Sutras

His Holiness  Sri Sri  BHARATI  KRISHNA TEERTA  Swamiji had held the exalted position of Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Govardhana Math, Puri.  He was the first Shankaracharya to travel abroad.  He has written many books.  'Sanatana Dharma' written by him explains the scientific background of various rituals and religious practices of Hindus and is very useful.

Swamiji was born in the year 1884 in Tinnavely of Tamilnadu.  He was named venkataramana.  He was a brilliant student, used to stand first in every class.  Madras Samskrita Sangha had con fired on him the title of Saraswati for his mastery in Samskrita language during his matriculation itself.  Venkataramana Saraswati after finishing his B.A. appeared for M.A. Degrees in the year 1904 at the bombay Center of American College of Sciences.  At the young age of only 20 years he has secured seven M.A. degrees simultaneously.  This record of academic brilliance in the world is not surpassed by nay one even now.  His subjects of study included Mathematics, Sanskrita, English philosophy, Science and History.

Sri Venkataramana Saraswati, though a scientist and a mathematician, his interest  was in philosophy.  After his extensive study of the scriptures, he is initiated into sanyasa and named as Sri Sri Bharatikrishna Teerta.  Later he becomes the Shankaracharya of Govardhana Math,  Puri.  After taking sanyasa, he continues his study of the scriptures in Sringeri of karnataka for 8 years.  During this period by meditating upon the Vedas in the woods, he formulates sixteen simple Sutras of Vedic Mathematics.  According to the swamiji, these 16 Sutras containing only 120 words are constructed out of mathematics present in Appendix of the Atharva Veda.  He had written 16 volumes on Vedic Mathematics applying these sutras in Various branches of Mathematics applying these sutras in various branches of Mathematics.

Along with religious and Vedantic discourses Sri Swamiji has popularised Vedic Maths during his tour of the country and abroad.  In the fifties while in abroad, he delivered lectures on Vedic Mathematics in the American and European Universities.  When he learn t that all his 16 volumes are lost, he started rewriting the same.  But he could write only one volume of introduction.  His health failed and returned to the motherland.  In the year 1960 he went into Maha Samadhi.  After 5 years of his demise one of his disciples published the re-written book on Vedic Maths.  This is a great treasure to the mankind.  This has revoluntionary capacity in the scientific field.  16 Sutras are very easy, simple and swamiji has shown in this book the very fast method of application of these sutras.  After going through this book, one wonders the unimaginable and the greatest benefit that could have been derived by the world if the earlier 16 volumes were to be available.  Sri  Bharatikrishna  Swamiji's gift to the scientific world is great and invaluable.

Many many salutations to the Great soul.

Plan Your Proposal and You Plan To Win

Proposal planning is essential to ensure that you have time to develop, write and produce a well though-out solution to the client's requirement. Everyone who has written proposals regularly has occasionally wished that they had planned better, started earlier and various occasions stayed late trying to deal with an unsatisfactory and unfinished proposal.

Think of proposals as small projects – develop a plan. Think about all the relevant issues you must cover - how to meet their problem? How you have done similar work in the past? Who will work on the project? Do you need subcontractors or partners to help deliver the project? Who will work on the proposal? How will you present yourself to the client in order to win?

Ensure you are prioritizing bid opportunities and have your best people working on the most important opportunities for your organization. Think carefully about which contract is more important. Is it the high value opportunity that will consume all your time and resources for the next several months? or is it the smaller project that allows you to maintain other client work at the same time? Whichever is the most important priorities your bids and ensure that each one receives the attention it deserves.

As with any project, when writing proposals, set and keep deadlines and allocate resources to complete tasks. This is taken for granted when running a client project, but is sometimes ignored on internal "sales" projects. Proposal writers and sales teams need to manage and run their projects efficiently too in order for them to succeed…and remember one sure fire way to lose the contract is not submitting your proposal on time. Don't jeopardize several weeks work by being 30 minutes late getting the document in.

Unless you are an individual contractor you should delegate proposal tasks to qualified team members. This will allow more time to be spent on each section and that each section of the proposal is written by the most appropriate member of your team. If you have expertise available, make sure that it is available to be used in your proposals. When delegating make sure everyone knows the deadlines and commits to them. Everyone needs to know this is an important project and you are the project manager.

Always plan time for production of the documents. Make sure that everything can be produced and checked in the final form prior to submission. The last thing you need is a well-written proposal coming across poorly because it was carelessly assembled at the last minute. Make sure the printer is working, that you have enough paper and that you have time to get it delivered. Book a courier in advance.

Having a set and well-defined process can easily streamline the time required between projects and will allow for highly organized proposals that always meet quality standards. Many people underestimate the value of proper proposal planning; make sure you are not one of them.

Within the Learn to Write Proposals (www.learntowriteproposals.co.uk) Bid Management Toolkit you will find great tools to help you – the Bid Capture Plan helps you define your win strategies and themes, the Bid Development Plan helps you structure you documents and plan the development of each section as well as the whole document and the Proposal Tracker helps you keep on top of the production of multiple bids.

Drive Traffic to Your Website with Articles

Many people begin their online road to riches dream by starting up a website and trying to sell a product they have created themselves. They may have written an e-book, recorded a cd of original songs, or knitted some lovely potholders with pictures of cats on them.

Enormous volumes of hype have been published with the claim that the internet is an easy, if not mindless, way to riches. The internet is now a global advertising grid, and millions of people surf each day for things they would like to buy, learn about, or discover. They search for the needle in the electronic haystack that suits their fancy for the moment. Shopping online has now become reasonably safe.

The first problem is, how will shoppers with a credit card and the urge to shop find your website? A count as of January1, 2005, suggested there may be as many as 11.5 billion public WebPages published. That was just over a year ago at the time of this writing, so that number can only be much higher today. To expose your little website selling cat potholders to prospective customers may take a little a little work.

Search engines use complex algorithms (mathematical formulae) to determine if the content of a website matches its owner’s claims. Self-proclaimed experts who follow this route for exposure must research every day to ensure their success. The search engine companies themselves keep their algorithms secret to avoid unscrupulous marketers taking unfair advantage of the whole internet shopping and surfing experience.

So what is a potholder seller to do? Search engine experts can charge upwards of $25,000 to guarantee that your site might be the first to be found when someone enters a search. That's a whole lot of lovely cat potholders. Some very easy and free methods are available to drive traffic to your website. One of them is writing simple articles. You're reading this one right now, aren't you?

Hundreds of "article directories" exist on the web just for this purpose. The main and simplest thing people search for on the internet is information. People want to know about something, and often a good place to find a snippet of information is in an article directory. Thousands of 500-1500 word articles have been written and published on the internet, and people love to read them. If they are short and informative, they will become popular to read, and not too time consuming.

Then once your website is up on the net, write a brief, helpful article about your product. Target the style and content of your writing to suit your friends and customers, and also yourself. The average newspaper is written for a grade 9 level reader, and tabloids are written for a grade 6 level or lower. Writing on the internet runs the whole gamut of education. Explain a problem that needs to be solved, and at the end provide a solution. Sales copy is more involved than this, but an article should be entertaining, or fit the parameters of a possible search.

The most important part of the article, besides the content and the attention grabbing headline, is a live link to your website in the author's bio at the bottom. More often than not, the reader will click the link, if it is live, to see what other information might be available on that particular subject. This link must lead straight to your potholder website.

A reader is less likely to copy and paste your website address into their browser if another similar article is listed in the directory.  Write a short paragraph stating your expertise with cat potholders, and invite the reader to visit your website. This will be your "author's bio". If someone does read the whole article, they are often curious who wrote it, if it covers the subject they are interested in. Most article directories will accept HTML code in the bio box.

Search for the words "article directory", and make a list of as many as you can. Most directories are free to read and submit your articles to. Registration is usually necessary, with your email as the username. Get another free email address to use specifically for article submission to avoid any trouble with spam.

After you have submitted your article, it may take a few days for publication. Check back to the directory to see if your article is published and your link is working. Then do it all again. The articles will stay published forever, or as long as the directory exists. Over time, people will continue to read your article, and click back to your website.

If you submit your article to 20 directories, and 40 people interested in cat potholders read it, that's 800 more potential customers from one article. If you have the time to write 20 little articles, and submit them to 40 directories, and 40 people read each one over time, well you do the arithmetic.  Article submission is one easy, quick and guaranteed way to direct some website traffic your way, and at almost no cost. Give it a try, you'll be amazed.

Keyboard Power: Using Your Computer Even If Your Mouse "Dies"

There are various accessories that could help operating a computer easier. The mouse is just an example of an accessory which makes navigation simple with just one click. However, most of these accessories have short "lifespan" and can be considered disposable. This is when the accessories can become bothersome.

What are you to do, when in the middle of an important document, your mouse decides to "die"? Would you worry? Would you panic and run to the nearest store? What if it's night time and the stores are closed and you are rushing up your work?

On your keyboard, immediately press CTRL + S simultaneously to save whatever it is you're doing. That way, you don't lose your work. This is a common and one of the most familiar tasks without using the mouse. If the mouse is not functioning and you need to do something important but you don't have the time to repair the mouse or change it, you can actually still do your work even with just the keyboard around. Here are some key combinations you need to navigate your way through your PC sans the mouse:

  • Ctrl + O to open a file or document
  • Ctrl + B to use the "Bold" feature of fonts
  • Ctrl + I to italize fonts
  • Ctrl + U to underline texts in a document
  • Ctrl + X to cut texts, cells, or icons from files
  • Ctrl + W to close existing windows
  • Ctrl + R to align document to the right
  • Ctrl + L to align document to the left
  • Ctrl + E to align document to the center (especially in Word Documents)

  • Ctrl + Z to undo last action done in a document
  • Ctrl + Y to redo last action done in a document
  • Shift F7 to prompt the Thesaurus tool in a document
  • F7 to prompt the spelling and grammar check tool in a document
  • F12 or save as, to save same document with another filename or to another drive
  • Windows + D - shows desktop
  • Alt + Tab switches you from one window to another
  • F5 – refreshes your browser when it seems to have stopped moving (when you are using the Internet)
  • Ctrl + Esc prompts the "Start Menu" when you are using the old 101-key keyboard without the Windows keys on it.
  • F6 enables you to change the URL on the address field when you are using the Internet.
  • Shift + Tab when you need to go back to a previous cell (in a spreadsheet) or entry in a form (in the Internet)
  • Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert to paste copied text to another document
  • Windows + F – when you need to find and open a file recently saved
  • Windows + Pause/Break to directly open and view your system properties without going through the control panel windows
  • Windows + E to directly open and view Windows Explorer without going though the Start Menu
  • Alt + F4 to prompt shut down menu

When you get used to using these shortcuts, you will certainly be able to finish the task you are doing even without the mouse. And this ability will make you look like a computer whiz.

Prayer Book Page No. 22, TRUE EDUCATION

TRUE EDUCATION

Bring light to the poor; and bring more light to the rich, for they require it more
than  the poor Bring light  to the ignorant, and more light  to the  educated, for the
vanities of the education of our time are tremendous.

Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.

All knowledge is in he-rent in man.  No knowledge comes form outside; it is all
inside.  What we say a man "Knows", should, in strict psychological language, be
what he "discovers" or "unveils"; what a man "learns" is really what he "discovers"
by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.

Education is not amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot
there, undigested, all your life We must have life-building, man-making, character
-making assimilation of ideas.  If you have assimilated five ideas and made them
your life and character, you have more education then any man who has got by
heart a whole library.

We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet

Well, you consider a man as education if only he can pass some examinations
and deliver good lectures.  The education which does not help the common mass of
people to equip themselves for the struggle for life, which does not bring out streng-
th of character, a spirit of philanthropy, and the courage of a lion - is it worth the name?  Real education is that which enables one to stand on one's own legs.  The education that you are receiving now in schools and colleges is only making you a race of dyspeptics, you are working like machines merely, and living a jelly-fish existence.
