Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE)
Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) is an entrance test for the graduation and post graduation in several government law colleges in Kerala and is conducted by the administrator for Entrance Tests of Thiruvananthapuram. The courses offered are 2 year L.L.M course, 3 year L.L.B course and 5 year L.L.B course based on the rank of the student who appeared in the entrance examination.
1. For 2 Year LLM course
The Students who have passed the L.L.B. examination in any University located in Kerala or any other Universities that were accepted by the Universities located in Kerala are qualified for admission. Students of Final year LL.B. can also apply for this Entrance Exam. Those students become suitable for admission only when they produce their Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all qualified exams at the time of Centralized Allotment Process. No higher limit of age for the L.L.M. course admission.
2. For 3 Year LLB course
The Student who wants to join this course should be a faculty member of any university in Kerala. The student who completed the Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks will be eligible for admission to this course. But the students belong to SC or ST requires just 35% of marks in qualifying examination. The students who had appeared or appearing for the qualifying examination are also appropriate to be valid for the Entrance Examination. Those students become qualified for admission only when they produce their Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all qualified exams at the time of Centralized Allotment Process. No higher limit of age for the L.L.M. course admission.
3. For 5 Year LLB course
The student should have completed the HSE or other equivalent examination accepted by the Universities of Kerala. The student should have to complete his Intermediate Examination or its equivalent 10+2 that was recognized by central government. The students who had appeared or appearing for the qualifying examination are also appropriate to be valid for the Entrance Examination. Those students become qualified for admission only when they make the pass certificate at the time of admission of the qualifying examination. The student with 40 percentile or below marks will not be allowed. But the students belong to SC or ST requires just 35 percentile of marks in qualifying examination. The student should be of 17 years old on December 31st of the year of examination. No higher limit of age.
