National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University of Law Entrance Exam

The NALSAR, a leading authorized institution in India was situated at Shamir Pet Hyderabad. In 1998 India created lawyers to join the bench. It was introduced by a rule of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. This University is totally residential and provides training in law and related disciplines. It was selected as the top law school in India in 2008 and has, over the years, emerged as one of the best institutions for lawful Indian education. The campus here is a wonderful location which is friendly residential area with comfortable environment for studying. It gives its students with the best resources which fits for the students.

NALSAR currently consists of 80 seats for B.A, LL.B course and 60 seats for LL.M. The academic syllabus consists of 50 courses having to be finished over a time of five years extend-able to a limit of seven years. This consists of 47 mandatory courses and 3 seminar courses where students choose the focus to write an idea on. It consists of two semesters in a year. Students are required to hold with law firms, advocates, Non-governmental organizations, judges or governmental bodies in winter vacation. Both NALSAR’s admission and Common Law Admission Test were linked in 2008.

NALSAR organizes the Entrance Test for the candidates for the admission to the 5 years integrated course. The main goal of the college is to offer quality education to all its candidates.

Eligibility for B.A. LLB (Hons)

• Should have cleared a 10+2 with a minimum of 50%.
• Eligibility is given to the candidates who are appearing for the final exams.
• The age of the candidate should be 20 or less than that.

Eligibility for LLM Course

• A degree in LL.B/B.L is required with a percentage of 55 from a recognized university.

Exam details for B.A LLB (Hons)

For B.A LLB (Hons) the entrance exam includes questions on reasoning and legal aptitude, general knowledge, comprehension and general English questions and essay writing on current topics.

Exam details for LLM Course

The exam includes essay writing written on common topics, Jurisprudence and constitutional law for 200 marks within 2 hours.

Admission details: Admission is according to the basis of worth of the candidates and performance in the CLAT.

Dates: It is conducted usually in the month of May.
